PagePack – Privacy Policy
PagePack is a Chrome extension that saves the resources of the web page you are inspecting into a ZIP file on your computer. This policy explains what data the extension handles.
What stays on your computer
All page resources (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, media and, if you enable it, API responses) are read through Chrome DevTools and packed into a ZIP file locally in your browser. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Your PagePack settings (file-type filters, excluded URL patterns, save options) are stored with Chrome storage and may sync between your own Chrome browsers if Chrome sync is enabled.
What we do not collect
- No browsing history, page content or URLs are sent anywhere.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or advertising.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
Payments (PagePack Pro only)
PagePack Pro is sold through ExtensionPay, with payments processed by Stripe. When you upgrade, ExtensionPay and Stripe receive the information needed to process the payment (such as your email address and payment details) under their own privacy policies. The extension then checks with ExtensionPay whether your subscription is active, using an anonymous identifier. We never see or store your card details.
Permissions
- DevTools panel – to list the resources of the page you are inspecting and read their content.
- downloads – to save the ZIP file to your computer.
- storage – to remember your settings and your Pro status.
