How to download all files of a web page in one ZIP
Save every resource of a web page – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and media – into one ZIP with the original folders, in under a minute.
Sometimes “Save page as…” is not enough. It flattens everything into one folder, misses files that load later, and breaks the structure you need to study how a page is built. Here is the fast way to get every file a page uses, organized exactly as on the server.
What you need
- Google Chrome (or any Chromium browser: Edge, Brave, Arc)
- The free PagePack extension
Step by step
- Open the page you want to save. It can even be behind a login – PagePack reads what your browser already loaded.
- Open DevTools with
F12, orCmd + Option + Ion a Mac, and click the PagePack tab (use the » arrow if you do not see it). - Click Reload & capture everything. The page reloads while PagePack records every request, including images and scripts that load on scroll.
- Click Save all as ZIP. The file appears in your Downloads, named after the site and the time.
What is inside the ZIP
Each file is stored at the same path it has on the server – for example css/main.css or img/hero.webp. If a request never finished, it is skipped and listed in _pagepack-skipped.txt, so you always know what is missing.
Tips
- Scroll to the bottom of long pages before saving, so every lazy-loaded image has been requested.
- With PagePack Pro you can add API responses (XHR / fetch), keep only certain file types, and skip ads or analytics with a pattern.
- Respect copyright: download only content you are allowed to use.
PagePack saves every file of a page into one ZIP with the original folders – free, private, one click from DevTools.
